For all of us who age and want to age looking young, Facelift is definitely an option to be considered. Facelift surgery rejuvenates and improves facial contours and overall appearance through the tightening of facial tissue and muscles, and the repositioning of skin. This helps remove wrinkles and droopiness from the eyes, face and neck, creating a more defined facial structure and overall rejuvenated appearance.

As in any cosmetic surgery, anyone pursuing facelift surgery should have realistic expecations for surgery.
The results of facelift surgery will vary depending on a number of factors that include: The amount of excess skin around the eyes and neck, the patient's bone structure (how strong or defined it is), the overall quality of skin tone and suppleness.
Face lift can, tighten the skin around the eyes and mouth to get rid of the sagging appearance., A facelift can be combined with blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) to get rid of excess skin and fat under the eyes and on the eyelids.

Called lunch hour face lifts, Thread Lifts or Feather Lifts have gained more and more popularity recently as an easy facelift alternative.Because of how quickly Thread Lifts are performed and the little down time, many people are undergoing it now a days

Using a hollow needle, a surgeon inserts a thread under the skin, starting near the Temporal area in the hairline. Since a needle is used, the Thread Lift incisions are minimal and shouldn't leave any trace of scarring.

The surgeon can gently tug on the thread to adjust and tighten skin around the eyes, neck, lip, or brow.New collagen forms around each thread to maintain the lifted effect. Four threads are the minimum number needed to lift even the most moderately sagging skin. Results of Thread Lifts are generally compared to those of mini facelifts.

A thread face lift has many advantages over traditional facelifts, besides being able to have it done on a lunch break. Thread Lifts are safer than more invasive facelifts. Thread Lifts require only a couple of days of recovery and the results are immediate. Because the procedure is only minimally invasive, there is no need for anesthesia. This means you can actually use a mirror and direct the plastic surgeon where to pull your skin.

The short scar facelift is considered to be one of the most minimally invasive lifts. The incision is about half the length of a traditional facelift incision. The S-Lift is not the best choice for patients who have excessive or sagging skin around the neck. Instead, the traditional approach usually gives better results.

Scarring in a short scar lift only occurs in front of the ear and directly behind it. With traditional facelifts, scarring occurs mainly around the hairline; while the S-Lift leaves the hairline unaffected, allowing women to wear their hair back.

The S-Lift is executed on a deeper plane of the skin using mini-incisions. Skin, fat and muscle are all moved simultaneously, encouraging long-lasting results. If a patient does not need a brow lift or eyelift, an S-Lift takes between 90 minutes to three hours, which is about half the time of a traditional lift.

What else can I combine S-Lift (Short Scar Facelift) with?
Brow or Eyelift
